Alex grew up near Boston and graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in biology, where he conducted research in bird migration and stress physiology. He joined the Yi lab in fall 2021 and is excited to explore his interests in genetics and regenerative biology. In his free time, he enjoys reading and bird-watching.
